Update (May 20-June20)

This month has been slow, to say the least. I haven't been doing the activities that I should be in order to build back links and get more traffic to my site.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still doing something almost every day, but I should be doing more.

In the PIPS Power Group Forum there is a contest going one for summer. The one with the most improvement will win the prize. The members there are doing well and I wish I was doing as well.

I have been submitting my site to link directories, surfing traffic exchanges a bit (not nearly enough), submitting articles to directories (I have to get writing some more), blogging a little bit and participating in forums.

Here are my stats: Newsletter signups: 70; SFI: 12; Shaklee: 8 in my downline since joining Feb 22 (this has earned me a check 3 out of 4 months). Since my last update I've had people drop out of PIPS or let their credit card decline for the hosting, so that means I'm down to 2 PIPS signups again. It's too bad that people think this business is going to bring them instant riches! Oh well, on to the next.

I just try and remind myself that if I want this business to bring me success, then I have to put the work and effort into it!!

Shaklee

Today I feel the need to write about an awesome company that has been in business for over 50 years. This company stands behind all their products with a money back guarantee and have had their products featured on shows like Oprah, Good Morning America, Rachael Ray, Today and several others!

That company is called Shaklee! Shaklee's products are no joke. I just started using their products at the end of February and wonder why I didn't start sooner. You see, my sister has been using Shaklee for over 2 years but I didn't think the products would be any good, even when my sister would tell me what they have been doing for her and her family.

I have not used all their products yet but I plan on trying everything at one time or another. So far I use the cleaning products, Nutriferon, Stress Relief Complex, Vitamins, Children's vitamins, parfume and skin care line. I just ordered Cinch to try and lose a few inches, so we'll see how that goes.

I'm telling you from the bottom of my heart, these products really do work. I'll give a little testimonial about a couple things.

Nutriferon: This is my favourite. I take one a day (recommend 2) and since I've been using it, at the beginning of March, I have not been sick. Twice one or two of my chilren and husband had come down with colds. I doubled up the morning I felt a sore throat coming on. After that, I didn't get anything, not even a sniffle! Then when I was in Toronto, when my dad was in the hospital, my sister and mom came down with a wicked cold. I woke up feeling like I was going to get it full blown. Guess what....nothing after that! I am still amazed!

Lets talk about Scour Off. This is a cleaning paste that smells like bubble gum. It is used for ovens, soap scum or anything that is hard to get clean. I used it on the range hood above my stove. I burn candles and I had a black soot-like residue that would not come off. I didn't want to use an SOS or scrubber because I didn't want to scratch it. I got my Get Clean order and tried the Scour Off on it! It came off without even trying!! I have pictures to prove it lol! Amazing!

The Basic H2 is great for everything from wood to glass to bathrooms. It's super concentrated so you only need a small amount. Get this, one bottle of Basic H2 will make 5000 bottles of window cleaner! You only need 2 drops in a bottle of 16oz of water!!

The only way to know how these products work is to try them, you won't regret it. Get a hold of me if you want to try these products at gogreen@taram.ws

Take care!

Monthly Update

Life likes to throw twists and turns at us along the way and that is what has happened to me recently. As in my last post, my dad has been ill and it's a difficult time.

I have been spending minimal time on my business due to being in Toronto for 2 weeks and being at my dad's house since he's been home. He got home a week after I left.

It ended up that my dad's cancer led him to have to have his leg amputated. He came home for a week or so and now he is back at the hospital for rehab. He will spend a month or so there so he can become somewhat ambulatory.

Despite this difficult time and uncertainty my business still moved on. I didn't do too much with it but I still got subscribers and signups here and there.

Here are my stats from April 6 - May 20, 2008: Newsletter signups: 91; SFI: 15; Empowerism: 1; Host4Profit: 1 (full PIPS); 1 Clickbank sale

My Shaklee referral was removed due to not paying and no working email.

Even when life gets in the way I don't plan on giving up my dream of making enough money with my home business to provide a better life for my family. Don't ever give up!

Personal Ups and Downs

The best thing about a work at home business is that when personal issues come up I don't have to worry about taking time off or explaining to a boss what's going on.

The business may have a little down time but I know I can get it going again when I get working and putting more effort into it. That has been the case for a few weeks here.

My dad has been ill and having a lot of pain for the last 4 months. We just found out he has a cancerous tumour on the bone in the upper thigh:( It's been a stressful and sad time for us but we will get through it.

We are waiting for the doctor in the city where he may get surgery to do his testing so he can treat him. In the meantime we are just trying to keep his pain under control, which is not easy. I hate seeing my dad in this condition.

Ok, here are my stats from March 6- April 5: Newsletter signups: 37; SFI: 8; Empowerism: 1; LAB: 2; Traffic Swarm: 2; Host4Profit: 1 (full PIPS); Shaklee: 2 placed under me and 1 referral, but has not paid for his order yet, so not sure what his plans are.

Take care everyone and good luck with your business ventures!

Work at Home Business Opportunity

You may be wondering where to turn in order to find the perfect work at home business. Finding the right one requires a little research to make sure it is legitimate and has a reasonable compensation plan. If you choose a company to become an affiliate for you need to make sure that company is stable and has the products that you can trust.

I have found a company and products that are not only stable and legitimate but actually work. The company is over 50 years old and does not show any signs of slowing down any time soon. This company is located in the US, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico and Japan. Their products are non-toxic and safe for the environment.

I started using the products about 3 weeks ago. Three of my children have asthma and it was essential that I use products that were safe for them. I just wish I would have done it a very long time ago. My 10 year old son was using his puffer pretty regularly in the last six months and so far has used it once or twice when I first started using these products. My other two have not needed theirs at all.

It feels so much better to be able to actually breathe while cleaning my bathroom and have to worry if my two year old daughter was going to come in. I would have to physically lock her out so she would not be directly exposed to those nauseous fumes. It did not matter though, because the fumes were still in the air even when the door was shut.

The company also has nutritional supplements that I have only heard great things about. My husband is using one of the products and has since noticed a difference in his energy level and has avoided any illness so far. I have just started with an immune boosting product so it will take a little time for me to notice any difference.

The next product I will be using is the skin care line. I am using the facial wash already and I love that so I’m sure I will like the rest of the line. The perfume is lovely also.

If you would like to know more about these products click here.

The most exciting thing about this new work at home business venture is the fact that, after only a few weeks, I have already earned bonuses and will earn commission off the people below me. That is the streamline sponsoring system that has exploded this business in the last few months. People earn money a lot quicker because the whole team works together to build each other’s businesses. The sooner you get in the sooner you start earning money.

Listen to this presentation to find out more about the streamline sponsoring system. Fill out the form in order to get to the second page to listen to the presentation.

You will not regret the decision to start a work at home business with this opportunity. I know I won't.

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

It looks like that statement is true for me. In the last week or so things have really started to come together. There are a couple things I have been doing different that I can attribute to this change of direction for my home business.

I joined a mentoring group which has given very valuable information and tips on how to get my business on the road to success. I mentioned this group in a previous post. I've been getting more visits from the search engines.

I watched "The Secret" and really started to try to think positive and believe that I deserve success. I don't think I believe I can just wish for a car and it'll come out of mid air, but just believing in the fact that I can do this business and be successful will bring to me all the things I want in life eventually. In the previous months I was becoming negative and discouraged, even though I was not going to quit.

I've expanded my business with Shaklee and I'm looking forward to success with this also. My sister started a couple years ago but I never got into it until she really started making some cash lol. I'm glad I did though, especially using the non-toxic products since 3 of my 4 children have allergies/asthma.

My stats for this month go as follows: 21 newsletter subscribers; SFI 11; Empowerism 2; LAB 6; Traffic Swarm 4; Host4Profit 4 (3 being full PIPS signups); 1 member placed under me in Shaklee, which earns me a $50 bonus.

This is getting really exciting and I can't tell you how grateful I am to be able to be doing this for myself and my family.

Is Your Home Really Safe?

We would all like to think that our homes are the safest place on earth, would we not? The truth of the matter is that it really is not. The air in our home is usually more contaminated with pollutants than the air outside. We may wonder how this could be possible. The very products that are supposed to save us from illness may be the actual culprits that are making us sick.

When your child eats and leaves a mess in the high chair we may reach for the Lysol to disinfect it and make it as clean as possible right? Well, these products that help us keep a clean house are actually poisonous and harmful. They may cause respiratory problems, skin irritation, allergies and even death if ingested.

Now let us think about this, do we really want things in our home that could actually kill us or our children? Would we deliberately put our children in harms way? Probably not, but the fact is, with these poisonous products in the home, it could very well be putting our children in danger. The most common poison exposures for children are the ingestion of products in our home, chlorine being number one.

The people out there who get down and dirty to clean the bathroom can probably relate to this. This is what I used to do when I had the dirty job of disinfecting the bathroom. I would spray, spray, spray, then let it sit so as to eat up that soap scum in the tub, then I would hold my breath for as long as I could when wiping it out. Sometimes the fumes would be so bad it would make me cough. How can that be could for us? I do not think it can.

What about cleaning the oven? That toxic oven cleaner even says right on the can to have a well ventilated area, do not inhale, swallow, get in eyes or on skin. If this happens call poison control and seek medical attention. I do not think these products should be on the market if they could cause such serious adverse affects. The potential danger is too great, especially when there are children in the home.

The effects of all these toxic products over a long period of time is something that one may want to think about also. Our homes are usually sealed up in the winter because the heat is on and in the summer with the air conditioning running so there is really not much ventilation to let this toxic air out. We sit in our home thinking we are safe while breathing in these harsh chemicals. We get used to it so we do not even notice the smell anymore.

Take a moment to really think long and hard about this. It may just save your life or the life of your child. My children have respiratory problems and allergies and I believe a big contributing factor is the air in our home when I was using those chemicals to keep it clean so they would not get sick all the time. It had the opposite effect.
